Shirin Abu Shaqra

Nazl Lubnan (short story – 2006)

The Sheikha governs the establishment as she sees fit and the customers (peddlers, beggars, night workers…) have been finding in it sanctuary for decades. Except that today, one of the main inhabitants is forced out by an ambitious politician.
