In 2015, I spent five months on two search and rescue emergency missions with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) working as a cultural mediator for the refugees crossing the Mediterranean sea. During my resting moments, I gathered footage with my smartphone. Throughout these five months, I met fellow humanitarians that dedicate their life to help others. They are the heroic ants that clean up after dictatorships and cynical economic pillages finish their job. This docu-fiction is inspired and dedicated to all those displaced ants of the planet and to those humanitarians, who, despite everything, continue to fight, for and with, love.

synopsis

She is a nurse sent on search and rescue missions in the Mediterranean Sea. He, a historian architect who must remain in Venise for his work. When they are not together, it is through an epistolary relationship that their love continues.
